The Lamu Archipielago offers many spots to visit featuring beautiful beaches
The Kenyan coast has a los of spots to visit, being possible to travel byt boat from one place to another. From Mombasa we can get on a spice boat and sign in for a tour around many places, even in Zanzibar. We just have to watch out for pirates, who are not rare in this region.
From this starting pint we can also go to spots in the Lamu Archipielago, a group of small islands in the Indian Ocean close to Kenya. In this we can visit Kiwayu, the centre of Kiunga Matina National Reserve.

Kenya is a very attractive destination to go on holidays in the African continent, with many natural reserves worthy to visit and a varied landscape, sometimes grassy and plain, sometimes sloppy, rocky and with steep paths.
Mount Kenya is one of the most visited spots for hikers and climbers, also, the Maasai Mara reserve stands out among the options, so does the Aberdares National Park.

It is rather difficult just to imagine the entire set of experiences we can live while visiting this country.
In Tanzania there is plenty of biodiversity and spectacular landscapes granting scenic views that will become unforgettable.

Giraffe feeding
Nairobi is the largest city in Kenya, its name come from the Massai phrase Enkare Nyirobi, which means the place of cool waters. This city has been important for the nation since the colonial time.
This city is nowadays the capital of Kenya, from the past there has been a lot of trading and an leading industrial field for the entire country. But there is more than people and their business in Nairobi, just a few kilometres away from the city yields the Narobi National Park, with lots of scenic views and the vibe of nature.

Mount Kenya and the highlands around
Mount Kenya is the second highest mountain in Africa after Kilimanjaro. This mountain is the highest in its country. Indeed, the name of Kenya is due to this big mountain.
In the past Mount Kenya was covered by ice partially, this is the reason why there are about a dozen of small glaciers in the region nowadays and we can see quite eroded slopes.

Diani Beach
South from Mombasa spreads a coast line which is a magnificent tropical paradise of white sand beaches adorned with exotic palm trees. The water of these beaches has an impressive turquoise color that reaches the coral barriers of the Indian Ocean. The National Reserve Masai Mara is a protected natural area located in south-western Kenya, close to the border with Tanzania. It was declared protected area in 1948 but it was not officially recognized until 1984. It covers an area of 1.510 km2 and it is one of the most popular and visited national parks in Kenya. (more…)

The source of the river Nile at Jinja, Uganda
Lake Victoria, also known as Ukerewe or Nyariza, is the largest lake in Africa and one of the most important ones in the continent, becoming its largest inland fishing supply. It can be found in central-eastern Africa, surrounded by Uganda, Tanzania and Kenya.
